couldnt not buy it, 89 n/a 100 quattro, seller had to move it by the weekend so it was slightly north of half a G. Love the 100's vs the 200, better headlights, nice velour cloth, simple 5 cylinder with no turbo. 140K miles, blue cloth sport seats, 5 speed manual, snows mounted with an extra set of the same wheels. Pretty damn clean except for it is an ex smoker car in stank only, seats aren't burned. Brian Silvestro you still lookin?

Good find. I've been looking at 80's Quattro's but if I buy another car that is older then me I'm pretty sure my wife will kill me.

So Clean. Always close to consider these if I couldn't find an Audi v8, or 200... or UR S4/6. Just as big and comfy as any other big Audi. Its all about the cruise

good luck finding a V8 in better than halfway decent shape these days. The 200's fared much better for some reason. MOST of them :)

I was days away from my first car being a pitiful brown Audi 5000 after feverishly uprooting an eastern European woman's shrubs for a discounted price until my parents heard of the unintended acceleration myths and put the kibosh on it. Poor me my first car ended up being a showroom quality CQ instead... in what now feels like ages ago

well that doesnt suck! I remember that Audi brown on the 5K. Man was it funky. I almost bought one last year (FWD one) with 450K on it but it was ridiculous clean. Guy wouldnt budge on price though

my girlfriend is an enabler. I almost bought a 5 speed land rover discovery this weekend. Freaking rockers were too soft for me though. If I move to CO I will need a few gen II quattros to get the collection started up again.

married once already, divorced, bought a house and had 2 kids with another, so pretty much married in all but paper, broke up. Not ready for it again. But I probably will in the next few years. she wants to finish med school first (though she will be transferring to wherever we head to)

I can't wait to have a bit of extra dough after I've finished the Spitfire so I can start impulse-buying sub-£1000 cars.
I've got my eye on an XJ40R at the moment. I've spoken to the guy and he's waiting for someone to come along who doesn't want to banger-race it (i.e. me), and I've said that I'll probably have the cash later this year as he's not in a hurry to sell it.

They are rather uncommon. Perfect for me as well :) an XJ40 with 20bhp more and a bit firmer suspension. That plus my 5-speed should be great.
Is your new 100 fully driving? What's it like?
